What is new about iPhone 13?
So you all know the face of it the iPhone 13 look pretty similar to
the iPhone 12 there's four phones 13 mini, 13, 13 pro, and 13 pro max and each
of them is almost exactly the same shape and size as their equivalents last
year this is because the iPhone company don’t want to make new design which
may cause damage their brand and sales if the design is not liked by the iPhone
users and other reason is that they wanted to keep their phone iconic from
other brands rather changing their design, but they have given different colors
and camera housing so that the users can tell the difference between 12 and 13.(this
is my point of view).
So the changes that iphone 13 received are:
Smaller notch
From iPhone 10 the notch did not receive any
changes till now. Finally, after a long time they have brought changes to the
notch, now they have made the notch 20% smaller than the previous year iPhone.
Increased base storage
Every single iPhone had 64 GB as a
base storage in this 2021 it is not enough. So they have increased the base
storage to 128 GB storage and the max you get is 1 TB in iPhone 13 pro and iPhone
pro max.
Bigger battery
The iPhone got more battery life of 1.5 hours of on-screen time in iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 pro compared to iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 pro and 2.5 hours in normal iPhone 13 and iPhone pro max compared to normal iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 pro max. The phone properly will be heavier than last year iPhone due to its bigger battery.
Better screen
The iPhone 13 phones screen are brighter than last year iPhone with 1000 nits in iPhone pro and 1200 nits in iPhone pro max. After 3 years finally the iPhone got the 120Hz refresh rate screen which was missing all these years, but it is only in pro and pro max iPhone.
Better processor
All 13 iPhone got A15 bionic chip which is 50% faster CPU and 30% faster GPU compared with other android phone and more reliable 5g.
Improved cameras
The pro iPhone got new cinematic video modes which make the video more similar to move like videos. If you shoot out a focus video on this camera you can refocus your video after you've taken plus this phone can use its ultra-wide camera to anticipate when someone is about to walk into the frame of the main camera and get the focus ready for them.
These new iPhone 13 has a feature called sensor shift stabilization it means that instead of the lens moving to try and counteract your hand movements it's the camera sensor behind that lens doing the moving. The iPhone 13 and iPhone mini have a new main camera with a larger sensor that apparently lets in 47% more light and then also an upgraded ultra-wide camera.
On the pro iPhone's the zoom camera has been upgraded to three times optical zoom the ultra-wide now lets in a lot more light up to 92% they're saying, and then the main camera can apparently let in 2.2 times more light, and they've also equipped this new ultra-wide with the ability to autofocus which allows it to double up as a close-up macro camera a macro camera that can get all the way up to two centimeters away from an object.
Most people don't need it but by enabling pro raw photos do take up about eight times as much storage, but they allow you to keep that information which means that in the future if you ever wanted to come back and edit it, it will look good even if you go crazy with the image.
